Press Release - Fatal Accident 10/06/16 15 2250 N Main (case # 16-N5089)

At approximately 18:20 hours on 10/05/16, at the intersection of 2200 N Main in North Logan, a two vehicle crash occurred, resulting in the death of a 43 year old female.

A  Dodge pickup, driven by a 25 year old male, was heading southbound on Main Street when it  collided with a Chevrolet Sonic, which was making a left hand turn to go westbound, on 2200 North.  The Chevrolet Sonic was driven by an eighteen year old female.

The driver of  the pickup was transported to a local hospital where he was treated and released.

The driver and a 43 year old female passenger of the Chevrolet Sonic, were transported to a local hospital, where the passenger was pronounced dead.  The driver was listed in stable condition.

This accident is under investigation.

Update:  10/06/16 

The driver of the pickup truck was 25 year old Dillon Hatch from Preston Idaho.

The driver of  the Chevrolet Sonic was 18 year old Lizeth Colazo-Lopez of Logan Utah.  The passenger in the vehicle was  her mother, 43 year old Yolanda Lopez of Logan Utah.
